Terms of Service
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of Scoutly (https://www.usescoutly.app). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Scoutly for a company, you accept these terms on its behalf.
The service
Scoutly finds publicly posted requests for products and services, classifies them automatically, and lets you search, save and get alerts about them. Classifications, scores, summaries and locations are produced by automated systems and may be wrong or incomplete. We do not guarantee that any post leads to business.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and give accurate sign-up information.
- Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Don't share or resell access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Spam, harass or mass-message the people whose posts appear in Scoutly. Reach out individually, relevantly and in line with each platform's rules.
- Use Scoutly to send unsolicited bulk email, or in breach of anti-spam and privacy laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR or CASL).
- Scrape, copy or resell the Scoutly archive, or access it through automated means.
- Break the terms of the sites where posts were originally published.
- Attempt to break, overload or bypass the security or usage limits of the service.
- Use the service for anything illegal, discriminatory or harmful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Content
Public posts shown in Scoutly belong to their authors and are shown with a link to the original. Content you bring in (such as forwarded emails or pasted text) remains yours; you give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you, and it stays private to your account. You must have the right to share anything you bring in.
Plans and changes
Scoutly is currently free with usage limits. If we introduce paid plans, prices and billing terms will be shown before you buy. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Scoutly is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.
Ending your use
You can stop using Scoutly and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@usescoutly.app. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.
